NEW ZEALAND

39.16ºN 145.61ºW

Located in the heart of the South Island, the New Zealand Alps offer spectacular terrain for high-mountain hunting. In this wild and remote environment, you'll find the country's two most iconic species: the Himalayan tahr and the alpine chamois. Both, introduced over a century ago, have adapted exceptionally well to this territory, becoming true challenges for any hunter.

Upon arrival, hunters are greeted by our team, where the process for importing firearms is quick and easy via an online form. Depending on the arrival time, you can rest in the city of Queenstown or go directly to the camp. Thanks to our outfitter, we have access to exceptional trophies. The use of a helicopter facilitates access to high and remote areas, maximizing opportunities without wasting time.

Although these species are not endemic, their integration into the New Zealand ecosystem has been complete, and today they are an integral part of the natural landscape. The eltahr, with its impressive winter mane, and the chamois, agile and ever-vigilant, offer one of the most authentic mountain hunts available. Furthermore, New Zealand is world-renowned for its enormous red deer, with top-quality trophies that have become a major draw for hunters from around the globe, especially during the rut, between late March and early April.

The best time for eltahr and chamois hunting is between April and July. A unique experience combining magnificent trophies, unforgettable landscapes, and first-class service.
