Chamois hunting takes place in one of the country's iconic reserves. The typical program lasts two or three days, depending on whether you wish to obtain one or two trophies. This region boasts a healthy and abundant chamois population, so, weather permitting, the chances of success are very high. Although the terrain is mountainous, it is not particularly difficult. There are well-marked trails with easy vehicle access up to mid-altitudes, making travel more manageable. Wolf hunting takes place in wooded areas near Skopje. Nighttime hunts are conducted at bait sites, from comfortable, enclosed stands designed for extended periods of waiting. The program includes three nights of hunting, and while success cannot be guaranteed, the best time is between December and February, when the wolves display their densest and most spectacular coats.
